This morning we were discussing marriage at breakfast.
Sam: "I'm going to marry Adah."
Mom: "Might not be a good idea bub."
Dad: "Ewww, groooos!"
Adah: "Girls only marry girls."
(Zoinks!)
Dad: "No, girls don't marry girls honey, girls marry boys."
Mom: "Boys & girls marry each other."
Mom: "Sam, you could marry D or M or K or A from school."
Sam: "No mom, they are 1st graders, I can't marry them."
Mom: "Well, D & M aren't 1st graders, they are k-kids like you."
Sam, looking at me like I'm nuts: "Ewwww!"
(I went into the kitchen to clean up - Eli comes in a minute later.)
Eli: "Mom, I'm going to marry you & give you flowers & you can walk in the king castle!"
Awwwwwwww...
